WIP

This poor little cardigan has been sitting patiently,
folded neatly on my pile of things
that I MUST finish one day for 6 MONTHS!!!

All this Work In Progess needed was some buttons,
which took me all of 10 minutes to sew on!!!

Why did it take me nearly 6 months to do it???
Please tell me I'm not the only one guilty of this crime!!!

But, on a positive note...it still fits my little Ruby very well...Yeah!!!

Hope your having a great day...

Icebergs

Recently I planted some lovely "Iceberg Standard Roses" along my front fence.
Theses will be my very first attempt at growing roses...so fingers crossed!!!

But so far so good, they are now in full bloom!!!

These are one of the hardiest of the rose variety...which is great news,
as we live in a very hot and dry part of NSW.

I planted the "Burgundy" and "White", and their fragrance is heavenly!!!

How dose your garden grow???

We Love Lego

My boys just LOVE Lego...

so this year I found this great Lego Christmas pack (10199)
from my local Toyworld.

I though it would make a great Chrissy decoration for the house...
and something fun for us all to make!!!

Its called "Winter Work Shop"

You can never have to much Lego!!!

this now takes pride of place in our lounge room...

Next year I am going to get these great advent calender for the boys...
instead of chocolate, they get a piece of Lego each day!!!
What a great idea for boys (or girls) that LOVE LEGO!!!

How about you...are your kids into LEGO???

Have a great day

Christmas Tree...

Well hello...I hope you all had a great weekend...we did!!! Our Saturday was very action packed...we had a BBQ lunch down at the Newy, we threw in some yabbie traps...but all we caught was 4 little turtles!!!  then later that night we went to the Xmas markets at the RSL for Santa photos and Christmas carols!!!

Well it's my favourite time of year!!!
The kids are counting down the sleeps till Santa comes...
Mum is left wondering if every thing will be done in time...
and the weeks and days just slip away!!!

This is our Christmas tree for this year!!!

It is filled with hand made Stars by me, gods eyes by Klay and Jett,
and the glitter balls by Ruby and Nate...Looks great doesn't it!!!

How about you...have you got your tree sorted this year,
or done your Christmas shopping yet???

An Oldie, but a Goodie!!!

Last night I rediscovered an old favorite..."Choc Ripple Cake"...this would have to be one of the easiest desserts you could make.

My family used to make this all the time...it brings back great childhood memories....do you have a fav recipe that brings you back to your childhood???

All you need is some whipped cream, a packet of Arnott's Choc Ripple biscuits and then slap it all together....I think everyone has tried this one, right??

And it was gone in a matter of minutes...

I also finished my button creation...It turned out pretty good, I think??

Enjoy your day xx
